Required Fats, Oils, and Grease (FOG) Wastewater Discharge Permit Application

The Midway City Sanitary District (District) is notifying businesses of the requirement to complete the enclosed Fats, Oils, and Grease (FOG) Wastewater Discharge Permit Application pursuant to the District’s Ordinance No. 63.

Ordinance No. 63 establishes the FOG Wastewater Discharge Permit Application requirement to allow the District to evaluate and regulate wastewater discharges from Food Service Establishments (FSEs), establish appropriate grease control and maintenance requirements, and prevent sewer blockages and sanitary sewer overflows.
